A support system for your mattress is required. We recommend a sturdy Foundation to provide correct support and avoid sagging over time. If you prefer to use something different, we recommend using a bunkie board with a box spring, or any support system with a firm, flat surface and thick slats no wider than 5.5 inches apart, which can cause sagging and void your warranty.

"Wow, what a mattress! We were skeptical about buying a higher end mattress but decided it was worth the investment if it delivered the blissful sleep that was promised in the reviews. It does. "I am mostly satisfied with the mattress. It is very comfortable and feels like it envelopes you. My only point of dissatisfaction is that the topper slides a little, maybe an inch, toward the side where my husband who is 70 pounds heavier sleeps and I need to reposition it in the morning when I make the bed. That’s awkward and heavy for me. It comes in two boxes so the topper isn’t connected to the foundation. That made it easier to get upstairs but the white glove option was very helpful and I would recommend it especially if you have a second floor bedroom. Two strong men were absolutely necessary to get it into our bedroom. BTW, the guys who delivered it were very professional and did a great job."

"When my husband and I decided that it was time for a new king size mattress, I researched until I couldn't see straight. The more I researched, the more I found myself coming back to the Helix Midnight Elite over and over. It met all of our requirements. Finally decided to make the purchase, and it was a great decision. Setup was easy, although the bed is heavy, so have help on hand. It's a good job for two people. We are both getting great sleep, and for the first time in a very long time, I am sleeping comfortably on my side due to the fantastic pressure relief. I am also sleeping cooler than I was on our memory foam mattress. I still wake up hot sometimes, but I think it's just me, as I run warm. I guess the four cats don't help either. If you're on the fence about this mattress, I think it's definitely worth trying. We are happy customers."

"The midnight luxe was delivered to us by mistake and we liked it. Then the elite was delivered and we liked it but there was a rip in the seam. Rather than swap it with another elite we decided to get the luxe. Probably would have kept the elite if we didn’t have to get a replacement."
