Does my mattress require a foundation?

Any mattress foundation with slats no more than 4 inches apart will work well with any of our mattresses. While a mattress foundation is not necessary, please be sure that your mattress rests on a surface with minimal to no flex. 

How tall is the foundation? How much storage is available?

The foundation is 7.5" tall without legs and 13.5" with legs giving you approximately 6" of clearance underneath.
