Birch Luxe Natural Mattress

The Birch Elite Natural Mattress is made with an additional inch of latex, placed in the top quilt for a more cradling and responsive feel in the surface of the mattress. The Birch Elite also has a micro-coil layer for additional pressure relief, and its coil base has zoned lumbar support and full perimeter reinforcement for enhanced durability. The additional comfort layers in the Birch Elite give it more of a medium-soft feel, compared to the Birch Luxe which has a true medium feel.

It is recommended to avoid the use of a traditional box spring directly under your mattress. Instead, we suggest using either a solid platform bed or a slatted foundation with firm, flat and thick slats, to properly support your Birch mattress. No matter which support system you choose, the slats should be no wider than 5.5 inches apart, as that could cause sagging and could potentially void your warranty.

Birch latex is Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS) certified. Additionally, Birch natural mattresses produce low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and are free of any polyurethane foams, fiberglass, formaldehyde, or pesticides, meeting the stringent chemical emissions requirements to achieve GREENGUARD Gold certification. This means there is no noxious off gassing.
