What cooling features are available in the Sedona Elite?

The Sedona Elite is constructed with several cooling features. Our uniquely woven GlacioTex+ Cooling Cover draws heat out and away from the body. Next, our top comfort layer of Copper Infused Memory Foam utilizes the cooling properties of copper to prevent you from sleeping hot. Finally, the dual coil system creates breathability and airflow, helping to draw heat away from the body to keep you cool.

What differentiates the Sedona Elite from the Aurora Luxe?

The Sedona Elite is our most luxurious mattress—while the Aurora Luxe is our most advanced cooling mattress. The Sedona Elite’s cool top panel coupled with the copper infused memory foam both provide cooling—but the dual coil system of 8” coils and micro coils provides a distinctive feel, level of comfort, and support often associated with a luxury hotel bed. Are these mattresses flippable?

Most Brooklyn Bedding mattresses should be rotated every 6 to 8 months but never flipped (or inverted). Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed with comfort layers on top and support layers on bottom, including individually encased coils in hybrid models. Brooklyn Bedding also uses higher quality materials that last much longer than traditional mattresses. The exceptions to the “no flip” rule are the Plank Firm and Plank Firm Luxe mattresses by Brooklyn Bedding. These mattresses are designed with varying firmness levels on either side of the mattress and can be flipped to customize your sleep experience.

What type of foundation works best for this mattress?

Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to be used on foundations with solid support with minimal to no flex. This includes slatted wood or metal foundations with slats no more than 4" apart, wood or metal box foundations, and solid wood or metal platforms.

What determines the firmness level in a mattress?

Several factors can contribute to a mattress’s firmness level—including foam density, transition foams and coil systems. How much weight will the mattress support?

All Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to support up to 950 pounds. If you or your sleep partner weigh more than 300 pounds—and prefer more substantial support—you can check out the Titan Plus Mattress by Brooklyn Bedding.
