A support system for your mattress is required. We recommend the Helix Foundation to provide correct support and avoid sagging over time. If you prefer to use something different, we recommend using a bunkie board with a box spring, or any support system with a firm, flat surface and thick slats no wider than 5.5 inches apart, which can cause sagging and void your warranty.

Does the Helix Elite mattress work with an Adjustable Base?

Yes, each Helix Elite mattress will work great with an adjustable base. Elite mattresses are made with individually wrapped steel coils in the base of the mattress, allowing them to maintain support and durability in any elevated position.

"We took the quiz and it said the helix plus elite was the mattress we also bought pillows as well cuz what the heck getting a new bed might as well get them to go with it so our mattress was best for us in sleeping position and weight so get pillows for our sleeping position as well first time ever going down this road before whatever we could afford never put much thought into it. Got everything shipped and unboxed at home crawled into bed that night and we both thought well this is different. The first couple nights were kinda rough but as time went on we can really tell the difference it makes having a mattress that is right for you and your partner"

Fine Mattress but not Life Changing

"The mattress is fine. I don't think it is necessarily worth the "Elite" branding, as it is functionally the same as cheaper mattresses. I think the zip out memory foam liner is a very good design choice that will help with mattress life. The edge support is not quite as good as I had anticipated, but overall it is a comfortable mattress."

"I was skeptical at first about buying a mattress without being able to see or touch it, but had read that Helix mattresses were highly rated, so I gave it a try. Our old mattress failed (a high quality mattress) after 6 years. I was having back pain daily from it. After our Helix mattress arrived, on the first night sleep I awoke without back pain, I purchased the Helix Plus Elite and this has been the best mattress I have ever had."

I like it.

"The Helix Plus Elite is really nice getting into with the cool touch cover and is really supportive being 5"11 250lb. I have noticed not to much motion transfer when my partner gets in and out. The sheets do have to have a strap at the bottom as the material doesn't keep them in place. The price is steep, but it is a pretty good mattress coming from Wink bed and Staava trials (half the cost)."

This isn’t just for plus size folks, I’d call it the HD model!

"This mattress is far better for us than the previous one we purchased from you. It supports without you sinking in and my hope is that with the extra springs internally it won’t wear out as fast as the previous mattress either. This mattress cured all my lower back and hip alignment problems as the first one did for the first slew years and it feels like it will outlast the previous model by leaps and bounds."
