Yes, each Helix Elite mattress will work great with an adjustable base. Elite mattresses are made with individually wrapped steel coils in the base of the mattress, allowing them to maintain support and durability in any elevated position.

Does the Dusk Elite require a box spring, foundation, or a particular base?

A support system for your mattress is required. We recommend the Helix Foundation to provide correct support and avoid sagging over time. If you prefer to use something different, we recommend using a bunkie board with a box spring, or any support system with a firm, flat surface and thick slats no wider than 5.5 inches apart, which can cause sagging and void your warranty.

"I like my new mattress softness but and just a little disappointed by the ‘ cooling’ aspect of the glacier cooling component. I have still experienced heat and was hoping that this was the answer to my problem. Not as effective as I had hoped and given the expensive of the upgrade, I’m not impressed. The support and comfort of this mattress is very nice."

No more back pain!!!

"Bought it for my back issues. First night was the best night in a bed in months/years. Every night since then has been great. I now look forward to sleep instead of dreading it. Sleep now comes naturally and even if I awake in the middle of the night, I get right back to sleep. I went not as firm as I would normally go, but it turns out to be the right choice. Love the mattress!!!"

"This mattress is still not firm enough for a stomach sleeper. But my husband is a side sleeper so anything too firm will be uncomfortable for him. Thinking of getting a board and putting it under the foam insert."

Dusk Elite/amazing

"Helix #2, first we started with the midnight Luxe and I felt like I melted into it, but it was hard to get out of, so I actually got a questionnaire in my Gmail asking how the bed was doing and I let them know that my husband loved it but I was having a hard time getting out of it for those who like a very soft bed that would be it but not good for people who have hip and back pain . Customer service they were so wonderful and upgraded us to the dusk Elite and it's just right! oh my gosh, zero back pain for my husband zero hip pain for me !! we love it, the dog loves it! it's amazing, that's all I can say is amazing and did I say amazing! I would recommend this bed to everyone and I have, well worth every penny! The return process could have been a little easier but that was no fault to Helix it was the third party who came to retrieve it and of course where we live is remote so I understand that it took some time it sat on our porch and laundry room for a few weeks but we kept it out of the weather so they could resell it or donate it or whatever they do but it was a lot of miscommunication with that third-party company first they said they weren't going to come and get it, and then the next thing they were trying to make an appointment to come and get it so it was very confusing but they finally came and got it. I also had another mattress, not Helix, that we tried out but no return policy on that one so I asked if they would like to take that one as well it was brand new only slept on for a few nights and they took it so that was nice it saved us a trip to the dump and it's nice to know something like that is not getting thrown out. And again no fault to Helix on the return process! A shout out to the gentleman who helped me with exchanging to the dusk Elite I don't remember his name but he was absolutely wonderful and accommodating I told him I felt horrible exchanging it but he said don't feel horrible at all and agreed with me that spending that much on a bed you want to make sure you are in love with it, so his recommendation for the dusk Elite was a great one and we appreciate that because hey it's amazing!"

"Gets very hot very quickly even with the extra cooling features, but it is comfortable. The added height makes it so normal sheets don't fit. If you sleep hot, the extra padding of the elite model may be regrettable. But overall, decent sleep."
